For as long as young Joshua could remember, he wanted to be a hero like his father. Abram, an ex monk of the mystical order of Sheng Hou, had survived the Endless War and wants nothing more then to spare Joshua the life he has lead. After finding a mysterious girl with beastial attributes in the woods, Joshua and the being known as Kita form an inseparable bond that Abram uses to temper his son’s fiery zeal with the newcomers wild but carefree nature. Together they study under Abram in the spiritual and martial arts of Sheng Hou... despite Joshua's mother's wishes.
